You are something else.

If I saw you with that duffel bag I would've stared (sideways, of course) at you too. LOL Especailly on some damn Nostrand!

I read you're posts every once in a while. Like the shitty day post. That was a real shitty day. I remember the rain. Not a taxi in sight, no buses, train late, got drenched cause my umbrella died. Yea, I remember.

A) Agreed.
B) Communist?

I love my neighborhood and it is the reason I am still in New York (alongside my hilarious professional aspirations).

According to chefs I know, baking is a science and if a recipe calls for an ingredient and I lack the necessary grasp of ingredient chemistry that would enable me to improvise, I should just do what I'm told ... or reap the consequences.

Yeah, we went down this same road when we tried to make our own gluten-free bread for Noah (don't ask me why). The economics of it don't QUITE work. It only leaves you with the aesthetics, which is that homemade bread usually tastes better and (at least) is more customizable than storebought bread.

Is there any particular reason why you can't make the bread with the yolks-in? Might be worth a try.

Big Trouble and Red October are both great, both favorites ... but I've seen both of them too many times and too often to sit down for them any time soon.

Remember, most thingsh in here don't react too well to bulletsh.

Aliens is, I think, a pitch-perfect action movie. I love the pacing, the acting, the stakes, and of course, the action.

Terminator 2 - especially the first hour of it - is also a great reminder that James Cameron really knows how to make a movie. Take the end of Aliens and the beginning of T2 and there isn't a flaw to find in the entire thing.

I'd say that if you queued up Big Trouble in Little China and The Hunt for Red October, you'd be just about set.

It's a very good point.

Am I correct to take your question as encouragement to call the Dept. of Health?

Also, I didn't tag this post with misanthropy today because I don't feel quite indignant or hateful, just disappointed.
